Busy Weekend Includes the Start of College Football!
The smell of Fall might not be in the air yet, but College Football will be kicking off its 150th season this weekend with a marquee matchup in Orlando, Florida. The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes renew their rivalry in a key non-conference game. Bobby Babowski and Jay Cooper both had the same top play on Thursday – Mets over Indians – and are now on a 27-9 run with their MLB Free Picks. He has a top play in tonight’s Yankees vs. Dodgers series opener that will conclude on Sunday Night Baseball.

Both clubs are fighting for a playoff spot and Milwaukee is still within striking distance of the NL Central as well. It’s a key series in a busy MLB weekend. Diamondbacks vs Brewers Preview and Free Pick
There are several teams still within striking distance of a National League wild card berth and two of those clubs will square-off this weekend in a key series at Miller Park in Milwaukee. The Brewers will host the Arizona Diamondbacks starting on Friday and neither team can afford to get swept. Milwaukee was hanging around the NL Central race but the Cardinals and Cubs are slowly pulling away from the Brewers, who lost two out of three to both Washington and St. Louis on their six-game road trip to fall four back in the division and three back of the second wild card entering Thursday night’s action. Florida vs Miami Preview and Free Pick
The 150th season of College Football will kick off Saturday night with a terrific in-state rivalry that – in my opinion – must be played every season around this time. The Florida Gators and Miami Hurricanes haven’t played since 2013 but both programs are trying to regain their once national prominence with high expectations this campaign.
