The Dallas Mavericks left no doubt who the best team in the West is, and now the NBA Finals are set. Dallas will visit the Boston Celtics next Thursday and odds are already out for the series and Game 1. Boston opens as a -225 favorite to win the championship and -6 in the series opener. Jay and Bobby will enter the Finals on a combined 7-4 (64%) run and will have their picks posted on the website for Game 1 later this weekend.
We haven’t had much drama in the NBA Playoffs, but the NHL Playoffs have been all about drama. The Florida Panthers took a huge Game 5 at Madison Square Garden last night to take a 3-2 series lead over the NY Rangers. Bobby and Jay were both on the Panthers and are now on a combined 32-19 (+$1,450) run and are on the same side of tonight’s Game 5 between the Oilers and Stars.
We swept our Major League Baseball Best Bets on Thursday with a couple of underdog winners on the Astros (+125) and Tigers (+105).
