Horse racing around the world is flourishing and there is now little doubt that Enable is the star attraction. She is always a hugely popular selection for punters using offers at planetperplex.com and this weekend is set to be no different. Enable is likely to be making her first appearance of the season in the Group 1 Coral-Eclipse, which could see her face off against the Prince of Wales one-two in the shape of Crystal Ocean and Magical. Other potential opponents include Circus Maximus, Too Darn Hot and Phoenix of Spain.
Enable is the general 6/4 favourite for the weekend, but this is only set to shorten and it would be a surprise were she not to go off at odds on. If she could return with an impressive performance then her price would only shorten further for her main target the Arc, as she goes in search of her third victory in succession. This would put her in a league of her own and the most successful horse in the history of Europe’s biggest race.
Enable is now a household name around the world following her victory in last season’s Longines Breeders’ Cup turf, in which beat Magical by ¾ length, with a further nine lengths back to the third. This saw her land the odds and become the first horse to win the race and the Arc in the same season, which meant she will now go down as one of the greatest horses in the history of the sport. This victory culminated another hugely successful season as she won each of her three starts following her return from a near year out due to injury.
The five year old daughter of Nathaniel has also now won her last nine starts, with her only career defeat coming against her previous stablemate Shutter Speed back in 2017. The latter has now go on to continue her career in the U.S. Enable has a remarkable CV and has now won an endless list of Group 1’s including two Arcs, the Breeders’ Cup turf, Yorkshire Oaks, King George, Irish Oaks and Investec Oaks.
This is the reason she is currently the biggest draw in the sport and her return is now hugely anticipated. The question now is can Enable become a three time winner of the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe and a legend of the sport?
