American Pharoah Heavily Favored to Win 146th Travers Stakes

Triple Crown winner American Pharoah will start from post 2 on Saturday in the 146th running of the Travers Stakes from Saratoga. This will be Pharoah’s first race since winning the William Hill Haskell Invitational Stakes on August 2nd. Victor Espinoza will once again ride Pharoah this Saturday in hopes of winning their 9th straight race together. Other Triple Crown contenders will also run including Keen Ice, Texas Red, and Tale of Verve. American Pharoah is the morning line favorite of 1/5.
