Prediction
I’ll back the Rays in this one. Boston is having a hell of time scoring runs this season. They may be 10th in runs scored and ninth in batting average, but that is a little deceiving. Boston scored 36 runs in three games at St. Louis a few weeks ago, but have since averaged 2.0 runs in their last seven. Also, the Red Sox have scored just 10 runs in the last six games against Tampa Bay. Baz is off to a good start, allowing just two earned runs in two starts with 16 strikeouts. The Rays are on an 18-8 run against Boston and 25-9 at home.
