The AFC North is one of the tougher divisions to predict, because any one of three teams can win this. The favorite is Baltimore to win again, but the Bengals are right behind, followed by the Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers. One thing is certain – the Browns will more than likely finish dead last once again.
AFC North Standings [2024]
| AFC | NORTH | W | L | T |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ravens | 12 | 5 | 0 | |
| Steelers | 10 | 7 | 0 | |
| Bengals | 9 | 8 | 0 | |
| Browns | 3 | 14 | 0 |
BALTIMORE RAVENS (-160)
In Lamar Jackson’s seven seasons, the Ravens have won four division titles, but are just 3-5 in the postseason. They used their draft picks to beef up the defense, including saftey Malaki Starks and edge rusher Mike Green. The first six games before their Bye are brutal: @Buffalo, Cleveland, Detroit, @Kansas City, Houston, LA Rams.
Odds to Win AFC North (as of 7/27/25):
Baltimore Ravens -160
Cincinnati Bengals +260
Pittsburgh Steelers +425
Cleveland Browns +4000
CINCINNATI BENGALS (+260)
The Bengals had a horrible start to 2024 and turned it on late to finish 9-8. The defense was a mess and Al Golden will take over as the D-coordinator. The first two draft picks were used on an edge rusher and linebacker. If the defense can improve, look out. The schedule sets up nicely and they don’t see Baltimore until Nov. 27.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS (+425)
Mike Tomlin hasn’t had a losing record in his 18 seasons in Pittsburgh, but the Steelers haven’t won a playoff game since Big Ben was under center. Now they’re hoping another future Hall of Famer will lead them in Aaron Rodgers. Pittsburgh went defense early in the Draft and gave Rodgers a formidable target in DK Metcalf. The Steelers should be favored in their first five games before the schedule gets tough.
Season Win Totals (as of 7/27/25):
Baltimore Ravens 11.5 o125
Cincinnati Bengals 9.5 o115
Pittsburgh Steelers 8.5 o135
Cleveland Browns 4.5 o180
CLEVELAND BROWNS (+4000)
What can we say about the Browns except they are already looking forward to next season when they could have two high first round draft picks. I don’t see much improvement from their 3-14 season and they have serious quarterback issues. They drafted Shedeur Sanders, but he is fourth on the depth chart. We’ll learn how bad this team is right away with games against the Bengals and Ravens.
Jay’s Season Win Total Best Bet: I hardly ever take an Under this low, but Cleveland is really bad and I don’t see them getting five wins. I actually think they will end with the same record as last season.
Browns UNDER 4.5 +155
Jay’s Pick to Win Division: I like the Bengals to really bounce back this season. 9-8 isn’t a terrible record, but this team had some bad luck last season and they finished strong. The defense will be improved and the offense is never a problem.
Bengals +260
