I don’t see a whole lot of points being scored in this one. Both defenses have played well all season and it’s going to be hard to run the ball in this game. That will force Sam Darnold, who’s prone to mistakes, to win this with his arm. New England has not allowed more than 16 points since before Christmas, while the Seahawks have the same stat since Thanksgiving if you take out the high-flying Rams. Seattle can really get after the quarterback and Drake Maye has been sacked five times in each of New England’s three playoff games. Quarterbacks under 24 against Mike MacDonald since 2024 are 0-6 with one touchdown, eight interceptions and 22 sacks.
