Recent Meetings
One of the best rivalries in football takes center stage tonight in Chicago as the Bears host the Green Bay Packers in an NFC North clash. I’m going to start out and say right away that I think the Bears will win this game outright. After winning their home opener against Detroit in a game they should have lost, they came back with a very good road win in Dallas. Jay Cutler was outstanding in that game completing 21 of 29 passes for 277 yards and 3 touchdowns. Cutler is the number 1 ranked quarterback in the NFL with a 121.2 rating. So far after two weeks, he’s only thrown 1 interception. He threw 26 last year, however, he only threw 6 at home. The Packers don’t have much of a running game since Ryan Grant went down in Week 1 and the Bears are number 1 against the run allowing only 28 yards a game on the ground. Chicago is ranked 26th against the pass so Aaron Rodgers should have some success. I can see him throwing the ball 50 times tonight which isn’t always a good thing.
