NASCAR at Darlington Betting Preview & Prediction

By announcing a return to live racing, NASCAR is now one of the first live sports to return after the coronavirus pandemic. They have packed in a number of races in May in an effort to bring live racing back to the fans.

Drivers to Watch For:

Kevin Harvick +470: Harvick won this event in 2014, and he enters this race as one of the co-favorites. Harvick has yet to win so far this season, but does have a pair of top five finishes. He is currently the leader with 164 NASCAR Cup Series points.

Kyle Busch +470: Busch last won this race back in 2008, but he has always performed well at this track. Busch enters this race with 111 NASCAR Cup Series points, and a pair of top-five finishes.

Joey Logano +700: Logano has won two of the first four races so far this season, but the layoff could have killed all of his momentum. He is still considered one of the favorites to win this race, and will be a driver to keep an eye on.

If Logano is able to rekindle the magic again then he could win his third race of the season.

Erik Jones +1300: Erik Jones might not be one of the biggest names on the NASCAR Cup Series, but he is the reigning champion at Darlington. Jones is comfortable on this race track and that could help him out as there won’t be a practice round.

Longshot Pick: Austin Dillon +11000

Austin Dillon is remembered for a horrific crash at Daytona in 2015, but he is one of the emerging stars in the NASCAR Cup Series. Dillon is not receiving great odds to win this event, and that could make him a great pick.

Dillon already has a top five finish under his belt this season, and he could be one of the drivers ready to take advantage of interesting circumstances this weekend. If you are picking a longshot, look no further than Dillon.

NASCAR at Darlington Betting Pick

Without qualifying or a practice round, this race is set to look much different than a normal race. It’s hard to predict what will happen, but look at one of the favorites to come away with the checkered flag.
