Giants vs Colts Preview and Free Pick – September 19th, 2010 ]]> include($base_url . “/includes/header.htm”); ?>
Recent Meetings
When you look at what Peyton Manning did statistically last week, you would assume the Colts are 1-0 this year. Not so fast. Even though Manning threw for 433 yards with 3 touchdowns and no interceptions, the Houston Texans ran all over the Colts defense for a 34-24 win. It seems like every year the Colts are always the last NFL team to lose a game. Arian Foster of the Texans made sure that talk ended early with 231 yards rushing. Including preseason, the Peyton Manning led Colts have now lost 6 in a row. That’s unheard of. His opponent this week will be his brother Eli and the New York Giants. Last week despite beating the Carolina Panthers 31-18, Eli and the rest of the Giants offense didn’t look so great. Eli completed 20 of 30 passes, but he also threw 3 interceptions. The two-headed monster of Ahmad Bradshaw and Brandon Jacobs averaged less than 2 yards a carry if you take away their longest runs of 39 and 22 respectively. The Giants defense and lack of experience at quarterback in Carolina won that game. The Giants have been a very solid road team over the last few years. They’ve covered 23 of their last 31 away from East Rutherford. Bradshaw and Jacobs should enjoy more success on the ground tonight. However, I look for Peyton and the Colts to bounce back strong from their Week 1 loss and easily win this game. Pick: Colts -5 CLICK HERE TO BET THE INDIANAPOLIS COLTS!
