Charles Schwab Challenge
When: Thursday-Sunday, June 11-14, 2020
Where: Colonial Country Club
Fort Worth, Texas
Betting Odds: Lines&Odds
For the first time since March 12th, the PGA Tour returns with a stacked field in this week’s Charles Schwab Challenge from Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas. The top five players in the World Rankings will be participating including No. 1 Rory McIlroy, who is the +750 favorite. There will be several precautions in place as the Tour resumes its 2019-20 wraparound schedule including no fans in attendance.
A stronger than usual field will be in attendance at Colonial simply because all the top golfers in the world are ready to get back on the course in preparation for the major championships. 101 players in this week’s field have won at least one PGA Tour event. This makes the Charles Schwab Challenge the best field since 2007, excluding majors, WGC events, the Players, and FedEx Cup playoffs. Tiger Woods will not be playing this event, nor will Australian Adam Scott. He is waiting a few more weeks to return to the USA for travel/health reasons. A two-week quarantine is required of any international traveler arriving in the United States in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic.

This feels like a major field minus Tiger Woods and I’m excited to see it. It’s impossible to tell where these guys are at in their practicing and physical training, but we’ll back a few guys here.
