Prediction
Despite winning the first two games in Toronto, Seattle knows the series is not over. However, the Mariners do have a lot of momentum and their solid pitching staff has cooled off the Blue Jays’ bats. Kirby didn’t have the strongest of seasons, but he did finish really strong. Over his last five starts, Kirby has allowed just seven earned runs and his strikeout rate has gone way up – 45 Ks to just two walks. Bieber labored through 2 2/3 innings at New York in his only appearance this postseason. I really think this is Seattle’s year to finally get to the World Series and I like them here tonight in front a hungry Mariners crowd.
