For the second time in program history, the Gonzaga Bulldogs are the No. 1 team in America after three of the top four teams all lost last week. In fact, those three teams all lost on Tuesday night to pave the way for the Bulldogs to take the top spot as the only undefeated team in the country. They received 46 first place votes followed by nine for No. 3 Kansas. Baylor moved up three spots to No. 2 after wins over Texas Tech and Ole Miss. West Virginia shot back up 11 spots to No. 7 after beating Pitt and N.C. State last week. Florida State took the hardest fall after an 0-2 week and dropped from No. 6 to No. 15. Gonzaga will get their first test as the top-ranked team when they visit BYU on Thursday.
