This Saturday, the No. 1-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide will see if they can continue their dominating season with a match up against Duke. The Tide, fresh off a big victory over Penn State University last weekend, will hope to continue proving they deserve their spot at the top of the Associated Press rankings where they’ve sat since preseason.

With running back Mark Ingram nursing an injury, the Tide have been pleased with the production of Trent Richardson, who ran the ball for 144 yards in their Week 2 win over Virginia Tech.

At 2-0, with two satisfying victories under their belts, Alabama is right where many expected them to be. The Duke Blue Devils on the other hand are just 1-1 thanks to a recent 54-48 loss to Wake Forest.

Also in action this week are the No. 2-ranked Ohio State Buckeyes, who will take on the University of Ohio. At 1-1, and fresh off of a loss to Toledo, Ohio will have their work cut out for them up against the Buckeyes.

When No. 3-ranked Boise State takes on Wyoming this Saturday, it will be the second test for a team that the AP touted as one of the nation’s best. Their Week 2 game against Virginia Tech, however, was far closer than Broncos fans would have expected.

Though they squeezed by 33-30, the Broncos will need to send more of a message in Week 3 if they plan on convincing the world that they belong in the top three.
