The point spread for Wednesday’s Mountain West showdown between the Colorado State Rams and New Mexico Lobos opened up at -5.5 in favor of the Lobos on Tuesday afternoon. The total opened up at 129. As of Tuesday night, the line has moved down to 5 and the total has not moved. So far, 73% of the betting public is on New Mexico. Here are the latest trends for this game:
Rams are 10-3 ATS in their last 13 games following a ATS win.
Rams are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall.
Lobos are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
Lobos are 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record.
Over is 6-1 in Rams last 7 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
Under is 5-1 in Rams last 6 Wednesday games.
Under is 4-1 in Lobos last 5 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.
Over is 4-1 in Lobos last 5 Wednesday games.
Home team is 7-2 ATS in the last 9 meetings.
Rams are 1-4 ATS in the last 5 meetings in New Mexico.
My Prediction: First place in the Mountain West Conference is on the line tonight in Albuquerque. Colorado State is coming off a nice win at home against UNLV, while the Lobos are coming off an overtime win at Boise State. The Pit is one of the toughest places in the country to play. The Rams are a very underrated team who have what it takes to make a tournament run. I’ll take the five points in this contest.
Colorado State +5
