Expect a lot of offense tonight in Reno, Nevada as the high-powered passing attack of Cal meets last year’s number 1 rated rushing offense in the Wolfpack. This will easily be each team’s toughest test to date. Both teams demolished their first two opponents and neither team has scored less than 49 points. I don’t see either putting up those kinds of numbers tonight, but it will still be a fun shootout. Cal QB Kevin Riley has thrown 7 TD’s in the first two games and has yet to be intercepted. He has led the Bears to 436 total yards a game, while Nevada QB has led the ‘Pack to 592 yards a game and 295 on the ground.
Cal has been a completely different team on the road in recent years. They are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 away from Berkeley. Nevada is 26-12 ATS in their last 38 home games and have covered 4 of their last 5 on Fridays. I see the Wolfpack running wild against the Golden Bears and prevailing in the end.
Pick: Nevada +2.5
