This Thursday Night’s College Football contest between the Cincinnati Bearcats and North Carolina State Wolfpack should produce some good offense. Both teams are led by good quarterbacks who have yet to throw an interception this year.

Cincinnati bounced back with a 40-7 win over Indiana State after losing their opener at Fresno 28-14. The Wolfpack are 2-0 with wins against Central Florida and Western Carolina. QB Russell Wilson has been solid for the ‘Pack throwing for five touchdowns in the first 2 games.

Cincinnati’s offense is in pretty good hands with QB Zach Collaros, but the offense just isn’t the same as it was last year with Head Coach Brian Kelly (Notre Dame), QB Tony Pike, and stand-out WR Mardy Gilyard. Last year’s leading rusher Isaiah Pead is nursing a sore knee and is questionable for tonight.

This should be a pretty close contest so I’m going to look at these recent trends to make my pick. Cincinnati has not covered in their last 7 games overall, while the Wolfpack are 9-3-1 ATS in their last 13 home games. I like home teams on Thursday Night games.

Pick: NC State -1.5
