Golden State now sits as a -350 favorite to win the series, while the Celtics are +280 underdogs. The Warriors are +140 to win in seven games and +140 to win it here in six. Boston is +290 to win in seven games, which is obviously better value than betting them to win the series outright, despite it being the same result. Steph Curry is a big -500 favorite to win Finals MVP, while Jayson Tatum is the second favorite at +240.
Andrew Wiggins had a big game for Golden State on Monday, recording 26 points and 13 rebounds, while Klay Thompson added 21 points. Thompson made 7-for-14 shots after coming into the game shooting just 35.8 percent, the lowest for any NBA Finals he has played in. Curry had 16 points and eight assists in Game 5, but finished 0-for-9 from three-point range. Tatum was the high scorer for the game, finishing with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Jaylen Brown had just 18 points and was 5-of-18 shooting and missed all five of his three-point attempts.

Jay’s Pick: Boston’s play has been really sloppy and their stars just aren’t stepping up. Curry had a horrible shooting night on Monday and Golden State still won by 10. The Warriors have the experience and talent to close out this game on the road.
