AP Top 25 Poll: Ole Miss Climbs to #3 – Big Ten Claims Top Spots

We had our first big shake up this year in the AP Top 25 Poll with the Big Ten taking over the top two spots for the first time since 2006. Alabama dropped from 2 to 12 after their home loss to Ole Miss. The Rebels climbed to #3 and received 11 first place votes. The SEC still has three teams in the top 10 as LSU made an appearance at #8 after their big win over Auburn. Ohio State remains number 1, but lost some first place votes after their 20-13 win over Northern Illinois. TUC, Baylor, Notre Dame, Georgia, LSU, UCLA, and Florida State round out the top 10. Entering the Top 25 is Stanford who upset #6 USC. Falling out of the top 25 was Auburn.
