NFL Football Matchup Indianapolis Colts (5-0) at Jacksonville Jaguars(4-1) Mon, Oct 22, 2007 8:30 PM ET The Jacksonville Jaguars look to spoil the unbeaten IndianapolisColts perfect record tonight in a Monday Night Football battleat Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. The Jacksonville Jaguars beat the pants off the Colts last year,44-17, and they’ll be looking to do the same thing tonight. The Jags have won their last four games in a row. QB D.Gerrardhas turned out to be the Jags hero. He’s completed 90of 136 for 1,069 yards with 6 TDs and no interceptions. Thereis no other QB in the NFL that has no interceptions. The Jagshave a rushing game that’s eating up defenses; they’reaveraged over 190 yards in their last three games and an overallaverage of 154 yards per game. The biggest reason for this isRB Maurice Jones-Drew who in the last two weeks has 21 carriesfor 207 yards and 3 TDs. WR D.Northcutt is averaging 15 yardsa catch while contributing 1 TD. They also have one of the bestdefenses that only allowed an average of 11 points to be scored. The Jags will have to look out for the Colts TE Dallas Clarkwho’s caught a touchdown in four consecutive games. TheJags defense will need to be on their toes against the Coltsmany offensive options. Just a quick note, Head Coach Jack DelRio is 2-0 on MNF. The Indianapolis Colts are making changes to their defense tostop the Jags powerful offense. Coach Dungy is moving linebackersaround like pieces on a chess board. A problem for the Coltsmay be the amount of injuries coming into tonight’s game.WR M.Harrison is questionable tonight after injuring his leftknee against Denver. He sat out their last game against theBucs. RB J.Addai is also questionable tonight, which will bea huge loss for the Colts offense. The Colts managed to stopthe Buccaneers running game, during a week 5 match up, but theBucs were without their top runningbacks. So they haven’tbeen tested in a while. When the Jags beat the Colts last yearthe Colts were just coming off their bye week, just like thisyear. Is there a connection here? QB P.Manning is on fire asusual, but it will be interesting if his top receiver and runningback are out. Tonight’s game will be the toughest teamthe Colts have faced this year.
