Prediction
I simply don’t trust Flaherty right now, especially against this Yankees lineup. Flaherty has just one good start since the middle of September and has looked bad in all his other starts. He was rocked by the Mets for eight runs, eight hits and four walks in the NLDS. Cole has been very solid since returning from an elbow strain earlier in the season. The Yankees were the best road team in the league this season and have won seven of eight away from home. I say the Yanks take Game 1 in what should be a terrific series.
