Besides Saturday’s meeting, these teams played one other time in Dallas and Seattle earned a 92-84 victory on June 13. On Saturday, the Wings turned the ball over 19 times that resulted in 23 points for the Storm. Dallas actually shot better from the field (45.7 percent) than they did from the free throw line (42.9). Seattle was 28-of-30 from the charity stripe and 49.2 percent from the field. These teams will meet one more time this season on September 13.

DALLAS WINGS

The Wings are tied for the fewest number of wins in the WNBA and Saturday’s loss started another losing streak after snapping an 11-game slide against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday. Arike Ogunbowale scored a team-high 24 points on Saturday and is second in the league at 23.9 points a game. Odyssey Sims scored 18 points in her season debut for the Wings in Thursday’s victory, and was held to seven points on Saturday. Teaira McCowan scored 15 points (7-of-7 from the field), while Natasha Howard had 12.

SEATTLE STORM

Jewell Loyd scored a game-high 30 points for the Storm on Saturday after pouring in 34 on Thursday against the Indiana Fever. All five Seattle starters scored in double figures Saturday. Nneka Ogwumike scored 16 points, Ezi Magbegor had 13, Jordan Horston added 12 and Skylar Diggins-Smith had 11. Horston added 11 rebounds for her first double-double of the season and has started at forward in each of the last three victories after coming off the bench over the first 15 games.

Prediction:
This should be another blowout. Dallas is really bad and 11.5 points doesn’t seem like enough. Loyd is on fire and she’s getting help from everyone around her. Seattle is on a roll and should take down the Wings easily once again.

Pick: Storm -11.5
