When the Auburn Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks meet in Jordan-Hare Stadium this weekend, SEC fans will witness one of the biggest match ups of the young NCAA season.

The Tigers, fresh off a tight overtime win over Clemson in Week 3, will have to come out of the gates stronger than they did last week if they plan to win one over the No. 13-ranked Gamecocks on Saturday. The Gamecocks will be ready, following a resounding victory over unranked Furman in Week 3.

Expect the Tigers to put junior quarterback Cameron Newton to work early in the contest having already thrown an impressive seven touchdowns. The 21-year-old is currently ranked-fifth nation-wide in quarterback rating.

The Gamecocks on the other hand will hope that freshman running back Marcus Lattimore will continue to run for significant gains. He currently leads the team with 333 yards rushed.
Although both clubs are undefeated heading into the match up (3-0 overall, 1-0 in SEC play), only one will remain when the final whistle blows. Given that both are potential top-15 teams in NCAA football, it’s hard to determine which is a safer bet.

The Bodog Sportsbook currently has Auburn favored to win, with a point spread of -3. Think you have a better idea of how Week 4 will turn out? The season is now in full swing so get off the couch and into the game. Be a player. Put your money where your predictions are.
