Prediction
Let’s start by saying that UC San Diego had a great season and are deserving of an NCAA bid even if they had lost to UC Irvine in the Big West finals. But they are no match for the Big Ten despite what the oddsmakers say. Michigan has a lot of momentum right now and deserved a better seeding. They feel disrespected and will go out and take care of business against the Tritons. UC San Diego shoots well, but they don’t rebound well and Michigan will dominate the boards.
