The point spread for Tuesday’s First Round NCAA Tournament game between the UAB Blazers and Clemson Tigers opened up at -4.5 on Sunday evening in favor of Clemson at Bovada and the total was set at 123.5. The spread hasn’t moved much, but the total has gone down 2 points to 121.5. So far, 59% of the betting public is on Clemson. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.
Tigers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games overall.
Tigers are 5-1-1 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss.
Blazers are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog of 0.5-6.5.
Blazers are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 Tuesday games.
Over is 5-1 in Tigers last 6 Tuesday games.
Under is 5-1 in Tigers last 6 vs. Conference USA.
Under is 7-1 in Blazers last 8 Tuesday games.
Under is 5-1 in Blazers last 6 games following a ATS loss.
My Prediction: Don’t look for a ton of offense in this one. Both teams hold their opponents to around 40% shooting and under 38% in their last 5 games. Clemson should win this game by virtue of playing in a much tougher conference, but I can see this game going down to the wire as both teams will have a little pressure on them to win this very first 12 vs. 12 game of its kind. Take the points.
