The point spread for this year’s Military Bowl between the Toledo Rockets and Air Force Falcons opened up at -3 in favor of the Rockets at Bovada Sportsbook on 12/12/11. As of Saturday night (12/17), the line has not moved. Bovada hasn’t released a total, but most books have it set at 70. Right now, 57% of the betting public is on Air Force and 51% are on the over. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.
Rockets are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 games on grass.
Rockets are 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 games after allowing less than 100 yards rushing in their previous game.
Falcons are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games after scoring more than 40 points in their previous game.
Falcons are 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a S.U. win.
Over is 4-1 in Rockets last 5 games overall.
Under is 4-1 in Rockets last 5 neutral site games.
Over is 9-3 in Falcons last 12 games overall.
Under is 5-2 in Falcons last 7 games following a SU win of more than 20 points.
My Prediction: We should see a lot of offense in this game. Toledo averages 494 yards a game with nice blend of passing and running. Air Force as usual has a great running game, but not much passing. They average 320 yards on the ground. I can’t see the Falcons keeping up with the Rockets offense, so I’ll take Toledo in a shoot-out.
