TCU vs Baylor Spread, Trends, and Free Pick – September 2nd, 2011 ]]> include($base_url . “/includes/header.htm”); ?>
The point spread for Friday Night’s ESPN game between the TCU Horned Frogs and Baylor Bears opened up at -6.5 in favor of the Frogs at Bodog Sportsbook. As of Monday night the spread has moved down to 5. The total was set at 57 and has inched down to 56. Right now, 65% of the betting public is on TCU. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight. Horned Frogs are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite of 3.5-10.0. Horned Frogs are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games. Bears are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 home games. Bears are 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog of 3.5-10.0. Under is 6-1-1 in Horned Frogs last 8 vs. Big 12. Under is 5-1 in Horned Frogs last 6 games as a road favorite of 3.5-10.0. Over is 6-1 in Bears last 7 games on fieldturf. Over is 4-1 in Bears last 5 home games. Horned Frogs are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings. My Prediction: This is a bit of a rebuilding year for TCU who is coming off a 13-0 season and Rose Bowl victory over Wisconsin. Andy Dalton is running things in Cincinnati for the Bengals, so that means Sophomore Casey Pachall will take over. He threw a total of 9 passes last year. The Horned Frogs are recruiting much better these days and will still have a strong team. Baylor went to their first Bowl game since 1994 last year and are led by Heisman candidate QB Robert Griffin. He has all of his top receivers back to throw to. The Bears defense is still terrible and will have a hard time in Conference play. I like this spot for Baylor here. They’re opening up Griffin’s last season on National TV against a team with a very young QB. Baylor +5 CLICK HERE TO BET THE TCU VS BAYLOR GAME OR
