It’s not a huge week, since most of the marquee matchups and rivalry headliners are scattered across Thursday, Friday, and Saturday next week, so most of the college football world will be focused on the Baylor-Oklahoma State game, which should not only decide the Big 12 champion but also have some major implications on the national championship picture if Florida Sate or Alabama can’t stay undefeated. But once again last week, I’ve proven that it’s just not a good year for my NCAA picks, so instead of boring you with some bland, likely incorrect analysis of what might happen, we’ll just give you some extra picks this week. So, instead of “Six Plus One,” just pretend that this column says “Six Plus Five” and everyone wins (or in my case, probably loses…)

THE SIX
5) Oregon @ Arizona Saturday, 3:30pm, ABC/ESPN2 Line: Oregon by 20.5 I have learned with Oregon one crucial thing – either they cover, or they flat-out lose. Now that they’re back in control of the Pac-12, the Ducks aren’t losing to Arizona. Pick: Oregon 49, Arizona 17
19) Wisconsin @ 25) Minnesota Saturday, 3:30pm, ABC/ESPN2 Line: Wisconsin by 16.5 Minnesota’s story is great as they battle in support of coach Jerry Kill, and technically they still have a shot at the Big Ten Legends title, so I’ll assume they cover, but Wisconsin’s just too good. Pick: Wisconsin 27, Minnesota 23
12) Texas A&M @ 22) LSU Saturday, 3:30pm, CBS Line: LSU by 4.5 I like Manziel more than I like LSU’s defense giving more than a field goal in what should be a close game. And don’t pick a road team to cover unless they can win outright – and they can. Pick: Texas A&M 34, LSU 31

17) Arizona State @ 14) UCLA Saturday, 7:00pm, FOX Line: Arizona State by 2.5 The Pac-12 South is either locked up by Arizona State if they win, or plunged into a three-way tie between these two and USC if the Bruins defend home field. I just love when things don’t work out cleanly, so let’s go with UCLA here and make that UCLA-USC game really matter next week. Pick: UCLA 31, Arizona State 24
8) Missouri @ 24) Mississippi Saturday, 7:45pm, ESPN Line: Missouri by 2.5 I like Mississippi’s defense, I don’t think Missouri is that good, and game is in Oxford. I’ll take the Rebels. Pick: Mississippi 23, Missouri 21
4) Baylor @ 10) Oklahoma State Saturday, 8:00pm, ABC Line: Baylor by 9.5 I’ve been burned by Baylor way too many times. The Cowboys are good, but Baylor’s offense is just incredible. I can’t go against them anymore. Pick: Baylor 48, Oklahoma State 36
PLUS ONE
Duke @ Wake Forest Saturday, 12:00pm, ESPN2 Line: Duke by 5 Pick: Duke 34, Wake Forest 16

Brigham Young @ Notre Dame Saturday, 3:30pm, NBC Line: Pick Pick: Notre Dame 19, Brigham Young 17
Nebraska @ Penn State Saturday, 3:30pm, BTN Line: Penn State by 2 Pick: Penn State 27, Nebraska 20
Boise State @ San Diego State Saturday, 10:30pm CBSSports Line: Boise State by 7 Pick: Boise State 31, San Diego State 21
