For the second straight week, the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys will be playing a game on a Thursday. The Cowboys hosted their annual Thanksgiving Day game and celebrated with a easy 45-10 win over the Washington Commanders. Dallas is now a perfect 5-0 at home and remain two games behind the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East. The Cowboys will host the Eagles next Sunday night in hopes of splitting their season series.
Meanwhile, it’s been a rough stretch for the Seahawks lately, who were manhandled by the San Francisco 49ers last Thursday night 31-13 at home. Seattle was in sole possession of first place in the NFC West at the start of November, but are now two games behind San Francisco. The Seahawks have lost two in a row and three of four and their next three games come against teams with a combined 26-7 record. The only touchdown they scored last week was a pick-six by linebacker Jordyn Brooks.
Including playoffs, Dallas leads all-time 11-10. The last meeting came in 2020 when Seattle came away with a 38-31 home victory. Dak Prescott was 37-of-57 for 472 yards and three touchdowns in that game. Prescott didn’t play in the preseason game between these teams in August – a 22-14 Seattle win. The underdog is 6-2 ATS in the last eight meetings.
Seattle’s top running back Kenneth Walker was out injured last Thursday and is questionable for this contest. Rookie Zach Charbonnet rushed 14 times for 47 yards and had four catches for 11 yards as the featured back. QB Geno Smith completed 18-of-27 passes for 180 yards and a pick and was sacked six times. Seattle hasn’t scored an offensive touchdown in the last six quarters and have just three over the past four games. Offensive guard Phil Haynes (toe) and wide receiver Dee Eskridge (ribs) each sat out practice on Tuesday.

The Cowboys have been ridiculous at home this season. Their closest game was a 30-10 win over the Jets. Prescott is on fire right now and should have a field day against Seattle. The Seahawks can’t do anything offensively right now and will have a hard time scoring against this Dallas defense.
Pick: Cowboys -9
