Dustin Johnson was the big winner last weekend, coming from behind after a shaky round one to win the event. Now, the PGA Tour moves to Detroit Michigan for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. We are just under a month away from the first major of the season. While the field in Detroit is not the strongest, there are still some incredible golfers taking action. Here is a look at our Rocket Mortgage Classic Daily Fantasy Sports Picks. The lineup is based on the prices at Scores & Stats for this event:
Tony Finau $9300
Finau missed the cut last weekend, as it went from -3 to -4 late in the second round. Finau did not shoot horribly, just did not knock down enough putts. Look for Finau to be among the leaders, and at his price, he is well worth it. Tony is looking for his fifth Top 10 finish of the season with this event.
Kevin Na $9100
IT was a fun weekend for Kevin Na at the Travelers, with a fifth place finish. He shot a 67 in the final round. He ranked sixth in SG: Putting, four in driving accuracy and was 2nd in greens in regulation. He missed RBC Heritage with a sore back, but that see.med to really help him out with a great weekend in Connecticut. Na is priced high, compared to other events he has played in, but look for a possible win from Na this weekend
Rafa Cabrera Bello $8100
AFter shooting a 64 on the final day at the Travelers Championship, this guy has a lot of momentum coming into this weekend. This is another guy that can get hot, and get hot quickly. It should be a fun weekend for RCB. If he can improve his long game, look out – this could be a tournament that he wins. That is what set him back last weekend, as his short game was on point!
Brandt Snedeker $7900
Snedeker is a guy that can get hot, and get hot quick. Snedeker finished 41st last weekend, but had a chance the first three days. His final round 70 did not help the cause. He finished 22nd in Mexico back in February, and that was after an awful first round. This could be a birdie machine guy, and a great play to play on your DFS team this weekend.
Brian Harman $7900
Harman has made the cut 12 out of 15 times this season. He finished in the Top 10 back in September. His last three events have been 23rd, 28th and a missed cut at the Travelers. This is a little risky of a pick, but the guy can finish Top 10 this weekend, If he gets his game rounded into shape early, look for a large birdie fest for Harman. Taking him at $7,900 will pay off at the end of Sunday.
Branden Grace $7700
The South African shot a 73 on Sunday at the Charles Schwab to finish 19th. Since that time, things have not been great. He finished 61st at the RBC Heritage and did not make the cut last weekend. Despite that, this seems to be a course that Grace can maneuver through, and his price is right to round out a really solid golf team. Take a flyer at Grace as your cheapest guy at $7700!
We are really looking forward to this event in Detroit. It should be a great weekend, and some excellent golf. When you go to bet on this event, make sure you do so at our favorite pay per head bookie site Real Bookies.com
