Prediction
The red-hot Yankees are back in the playoffs against their rivals and have the edge in Game 1. Max Fried was brought in to be the No. 2 behind Gerritt Cole, but ended up being the ace after Cole went down for the season. Fried has been on fire, going 6-0 with a 1.55 ERA over his final seven starts. New York has also been red-hot and the bullpen has found its groove. The Yankees have allowed no more than four runs in 10 straight games, while going 9-1. Crochet has been good for Boston, but New York has the momentum going into this series.
