The marquee matchup tonight in College Hoops takes us to Columbus, Ohio where the Purdue Boilermakers and Ohio State Buckeyes will try and keep pace with Big Ten front-runners Michigan State. At 11-3, the Spartans lead the Buckeyes by a half a game and Purdue by a game. Both teams come in with nice winning streaks. Purdue has won 7 in a row since they lost 3 games in a row back in the middle of January. Ohio State has won 6 in a row and 9 of 10 overall. As you would expect from the Big Ten, both teams are strong defensively. Opponents only shoot around 40% from the field against these two. The key to this game will be the Boilermakers trying to stop Even Turner. The Buckeye forward is one of the top players in the country averaging 19 points, 9.3 rebounds, and 5.8 assists per game. Back in January, Turner poured in 32 points in a 70-66 Ohio State win at Purdue. I believe he will have another big game, and the Buckeyes will prevail by at least 5 points.
Pick: Ohio State -3.5
