Prediction

Week 3 of the NFL season begins with an AFC East rivalry game between the Patriots and Jets. Each team has split their first two games and this will be the first time New England has seen Aaron Rodgers as a member of the Jets. I’m going to take the points in this one. So far, underdogs of 5.5 or more have been really good early on in this NFL season, going 9-1 ATS with five outright wins. New England’s defense is good enough to control the Jets offense, which hasn’t been great yet. The Pats can run the ball and control the clock. As long as they can score at least 13 or 14 points, New England should be able to cover this game. I would have liked 7 points, but the 6.5 should be enough.

Pick: Patriots +6.5
