The Baltimore Orioles are finding it hard to enough to win games this season, now they have a former All-Star coming back to town to torture them some more. Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres look for the two-game interleague sweep on Wednesday afternoon, as struggling starters Matt Strahm and Dylan Bundy battle on the mound. The Padres ended a three-game losing streak on Tuesday behind Machado, who blasted one of four homers by San Diego to give him 100 at Camden Yards. He also extended his hitting streak to 12 games and has seven homers and 16 RBI in his last 11. Machado has multiple hits in nine of the last 12 games and has at least one RBI in eight straight. Fernando Tatis Jr. and Manuel Margot also homered, as the former has five RBI in the past three games. The Orioles lost for the 12th time in 13 games and fell to 9-29 at home, but did get four hits from Hanser Alberto, who extended his hitting streak to four games. Baltimore pitching has surrendered a major league-worst 160 homers so far this season and Bundy has served up 17 of those.
Pitchers: Padres – Matt Strahm (2-6, 4.85 ERA) | Orioles – Dylan Bundy (3-9, 4.59)
Strahm was one of the reasons San Diego had a hot start to the season, allowing two runs or less in eight straight starts after his season opener, but has fallen on hard times since. He has a 12.08 ERA in his last three outings and has surrendered two home runs in five consecutive appearances. Strahm, who is starting against the Orioles for the first time, is 1-4 with a 3.96 ERA away from home.

Bundy allowed three runs in five consecutive starts before surrendering four and seven hits (two homers) while striking out eight over 5.1 innings against Seattle last time out.
