The point spread for Saturday’s game between the Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes opened up at -3 in favor of the Miami at Bodog Sportsbook on Monday afternoon. The line has not moved as of Thursday afternoon. Bodog hasn’t released a total yet, but most books have it at 46 as of Thursday afternoon. Right now, 60% of the betting public is on the ‘Canes and 78% are on the under. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Buckeyes are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games as an underdog.

Buckeyes are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 non-conference games.

Hurricanes are 1-4 ATS vs. a team with a winning record.

Hurricanes are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 non-conference games.

Under is 4-0 in Buckeyes last 4 games as a road underdog.

Under is 6-0 in Buckeyes last 6 games as an underdog.

Under is 5-1-1 in Hurricanes last 7 games as a favorite.

Under is 4-1-1 in Hurricanes last 6 games following a S.U. loss.

My Prediction: Jacory Harris returns to the Hurricanes offense this week and Miami could really use him. Ohio State comes to town with a few of their players back from suspension also. Miami lost their opening game at Maryland on Labor Day night 32-24. QB Stephen Morris led the offense that night but was ineffective throwing 2 interceptions. Harris looked like a deer in headlights last year in Columbus. I think the ‘Canes come out inspired and Harris has a big game.

Miami FL -3
