Prediction
I’ll back the Irish in this one, but it won’t be easy. The Irish have the edge overall on both sides of the ball and their resume is stronger than Penn State’s this season. Notre Dame has been steamrolling opponents since that NIU loss and they were impressive against Georgia in the Sugar Bowl. The Lions have a significant injury concern with their best defensive player questionable for this game. We probably won’t know his status until game day. I say the Irish win this by a field goal or more.
