NFL Sunday Week 14 “Must Wins”

The NFL has had its share of ups and downs this season, but nobody can say that it hasn’t been entertaining. This season has been fantastic, and the underdogs have ruled the roost, however, that tide seems to be turning and we look at games such as the Seahawks Vs. Rams and scratch our head. The Seahawks are 10-2, they look fantastic after coming off a huge win over the Vikings and to boot, they are 6-0 on the road as they head to LA. The Rams are a disappointment, to say the least with a 7-5 record and 3-3 at home. Does Vegas know something that we don’t? Possibly, but there are even better games than this one so check out who we think has the playoff fever this week and who plays with urgency. Ravens Vs. Bills

BAL -5.5 O/U 43.5

The Ravens did their job last week against the 49ers, but it was close. This team is good, we like their chances to make a deep run in the playoffs but don’t count the Bills out of this game. We counted San Francisco out last week and that was a mistake. The Bills are riding high after a big Thanksgiving victory in Dallas and we think they ride the momentum. They need the win as they hope for a Patriots loss to the Chiefs. Bills +5.5

Redskins Vs. Packers

GB -12.5, O/U 42

Somehow the Redskins found a way to find 29 points and beat the Panthers in Carolina. Meanwhile, the Packers went on the road and picked up a victory over the Giants 31-13. The Redskins have put together moments this season when they looked as if they were trying to win. We don’t see it happening against the Packers. The Packers are putting up 24.1 points per game and allowing 21.3, while the Redskins are managing 14.4 points per game while allowing 24.2. Now, we admit that covering 12.5 points means that a team should be winning by 17 late in the game in order for you the bettor to be comfortable. The Packers blow the Redskins out at home. They are much better, and they will win big. Look for a 34-17 kind of game. Packers -12.5

49ers Vs. Saints

NO -2.5, O/U 44.5

The 49ers have been beaten at home by the Seahawks and that’s bad news. They must win this game for one reason; home-field advantage in the playoffs. Although the Seahawks beat them once, it would be hard to beat them twice and, in the playoffs, to boot. In Seattle, the shoe is on the other foot. The 49ers are pressing, and this is number two in a row on the road. Last week they played well in Baltimore, however, they showed their weaknesses down the field. The Saints are going to be ready for this one, expect a battle. For us, this one is too close to call, but we love the over. This one is primed for a shootout. OVER 44.5
