The Bowl Season kicks off Saturday afternoon in Albuquerque, New Mexico with the Wyoming Cowboys facing the Fresno State Bulldogs. The Cowboys won their final two regular season road games to get here. After starting the season 4-2, Wyoming’s offense hit a wall. During a 3-game losing streak, they were shut out twice and only scored 10 points in their loss to Air Force. They’re only averaging 16.4 points per game this season. On the other hand, Fresno State has been an offensive machine, scoring over 30 points in 10 of their 12 games. However, their defense surrenders over 411 yards a game and that’s why they’re playing here today. I don’t think Wyoming will be able to keep up with the Bulldogs in this one. A few stops here and there by Fresno’s defense and they could run away with this.
