Both teams have backed their way into this bowl game – although Utah should have been better. Kent State will not match up well with Utah States’ offense and Utah State gives up 29 points per game. This one could go in the 70s’! We like Utah State and over, but our money is squarely on the over.

The Washington Huskies were supposed to be better than this and they indeed were in the beginning. Then the bottom fell out for this team and head coach Chris Petersen announced his resignation. That’s a shame. Coach Petersen is one of the very best in the game and he is flat-out underrated. His talent pool let him down this season. Boise State always gets a pass from the top-25 and they rarely cover the spread. Coach Harsin needs to be booted, but because Boise is a “good old boy” city and he grew up and went to high school in the Boise area, everything he touches turns to gold. When Chris Petersen took the Boise State Broncos to the Fiesta Bowl in 2007 it was indeed a surprise and even better, he beat Bob Stoops and the Sooners.
