Prediction
We have a surprising battle between the top two teams in the American League West with Seattle and the Athletics off to nice starts this season. These are two decent pitchers going in the series opener and I like the under. Both teams had to travel on Sunday night to get here and don’t get the benefit of a day off. The A’s are coming all the way from Miami and I can see the pitchers dominating tonight. After getting roughed up early in the season, Severino has settled in over his last four starts with three of them going under the total and shutting out the Mariners over six innings back in late March. Miller has allowed one or zero runs in three of his last four starts and the Seattle offense scored just three runs over the weekend. I’ll take the Under.
