The point spread for this year’s SEC Championship Game between the Florida Gators and Kentucky Wildcats opened up at PICKEM at Bovada as soon as the Gators finished off Vanderbilt. The total was set at 138. So far, the betting public split right down the middle on this one. To help you better decide who to bet, here are some trends for today.
Wildcats are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Sunday games.
Wildcats are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. win.
Gators are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS win.
Gators are 5-0-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall.
Under is 6-1 in Wildcats last 7 games as an underdog.
Over is 6-2-1 in Wildcats last 9 games following a ATS win.
Over is 7-0 in Gators last 7 vs. Southeastern.
Over is 5-0 in Gators last 5 games as a favorite.
My Prediction: This is a tough one to call. I believe Kentucky has a slightly better team, but the Gators have won 9 of 10 overall. That one loss, however, was to the Wildcats. I think Kentucky’s defense will be the deciding factor in this one. They are holding their opponents to 40% shooting in the last 5 games. The Wildcats win a close one.
Kentucky +1
