The Horizon League will be one of the easiest tournaments to predict this year. It’s all about the Butler Bulldogs. They are 26-4 overall and a perfect 18-0 in the conference. Only 5 of their 18 Horizon wins have been less than 10 points. No other team in the conference deserves to be in the Big Dance, so Butler better not screw this up. They get the semifinal and final game on their home court. Wright State is the 2 seed and have won 8 of 11. However, they lost both games to Butler this year by 12 points. Milwaukee has won 5 of 6, but lost by 13 at Butler back in January. Detroit has given the Bulldogs the most trouble this year, losing at home in overtime and by only 5 at Butler a month ago. I don’t see Detroit getting a chance to play Butler in the final as their first 2 games are on the road at Valparaiso and probably Green Bay. This should be an easy romp for Butler.
