Santa Clara is a having a great season and worthy of consideration for the NCAA Tournament. A win tonight would really improve the resume, but I just don’t think they’re strong enough to take down the WCC’s best. Gonzaga is much more efficient and have been focused since getting upset at Portland 10 days ago. Since then, the Zags have won by 20 and 30. The Bulldogs can score from anywhere on the court and will dominate the boards. They rank 22nd in rebounds per game, while the Broncos rank 136th. The Zags have also dominated the series, winning 22 of 24 in Santa Clara and covering eight of the last 10. The Broncos have the ability to keep this close at home, but Gonzaga will show their will in the second half and take down Santa Clara.
