One of the best rivalries in College Basketball over the last 20 years will end Saturday night as we know it when Saint Mary’s hosts Gonzaga. The Bulldogs will move to the new Pac-12 next year, ending the exciting home-and-home series we’ve grown accustomed to over the last couple of decades. With the No. 1 seed in the WCC tournament wrapped up, the Bulldogs don’t have to win this game, but they will be motivated. The Gaels should be in the Big Dance, but a win on Saturday would help them move off the dreaded 8-9 game they are predicted to land on right now. Saint Mary’s has lost the last two matchups with the Zags, but have covered four of the last five. They are also 14-0 at home this season, including 10-4 against the spread. Give me the Gaels and the points.
