The ACC takes center stage tonight in Raleigh, North Carolina as the Wolfpack play host to the 15th ranked Seminoles of Florida State. QB Christian Ponder of the ‘Noles is having the most productive season of his career, but he hasn’t been spectacular. He has 12 touchdowns, but also 7 interceptions. Florida State is a game and a half ahead of the ACC Atlantic division and look well on their way to a meeting with Virginia Tech in the ACC Championship game. The Wolfpack could make things interesting with an upset win tonight. They certainly have the weapons on offense led by Quarterback Russell Wilson. He’s leading the ‘Pack to the 7th ranked pass offense in the country with 312 yards a game. NC State has lost 2 of 3 and that’s partly why the line has moved up to 4, but those two loses where to Virginia Tech and East Carolina. Losing to East Carolina isn’t terrible considering they’re a big rival and very underrated. I’m going with the Wolfpack in this one. Here are some very good trends to help support my pick:

NC State is 8-0-1 ATS in the last 9 vs Florida State
NC State is 13-3 in the last 16 games after a bye
NC State is 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games
NC State is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 as a home dog
