With all the Dodgers hitting depth, Mike Fiers of the Astros no-hit them last night in a 3-0 Houston win. Now they have to go against an even better pitcher tonight in Scott Kazmir. He’ll be opposed by Zack Greinke in what should be a terrific pitching matchup. We only got 3 runs last night, so you might want to take a look at the under 7 tonight. With the Giants win last night, the Dodgers lead in the N.L. West has been cut to a game and a half, while the Astros still hold a 3 game lead on Anaheim. Last night marked the reunion of the 2008 Phillies World Series Champions when Chase Utley and Jimmy Rollins started at 2B and SS. Utley may sit tonight against the lefty as the Dodgers bench is now loaded for the stretch run. Kazmir started out great when he first arrived in Houston, but his last three starts have not gone so well. He’s surrendered 13 runs in 16 innings, all three loses.
I think the Dodgers come out swinging tonight and get to a struggling Kazmir early. Greinke has been brilliant all year and the Astros lineup will not scare him.
