The Packers just edged out the Cowboys in a tiebreaker to get this game at home, but Dallas is not afraid to play on the road. They are a perfect 7-0 in true road games this year including a win in London. That’s 8-0 away from home, while the Packers are a perfect 8-0 at home. The big question surrounding this game is the health of Rodgers’ calf. No one really knows severe this injury is, but as long as Rodgers can walk and throw, he’ll gut it out. He’s the best quarterback in the NFL right now. Romo finally got that much needed playoff win last week, although Lions fans probably don’t agree. Dallas really got lucky last week and probably should have lost that game. The Packers ended the season winning 7 of their last 8. Eddie Lacy will be key for Green Bay today. He’s had a career year with over 1,500 yards rushing, 13 touchdowns and another 43 catches. He’ll need to take some pressure off of Rodgers for the Packers to have success. It won’t be easy as Dallas was 7th against the rush this year in the NFL. I think Dallas keeps this close for a half, but Green Bay ultimately pulls away. PICK: Packers -5.5 |
