This came after averaging 17ppg in the FIRST HALF of their first 13 games. Philadelphia is 5-0 after a loss averaging 20ppg above and beyond the spread in those 5 wins. Dallas, on the other hand is also playing ROAD WARRIOR football with a 5-0 away record, the only undefeated road team in the NFL, and there’s not a team that’s even a close second in that department. Although QB Tony Romo has had his share of problems in December, he has more rest this time around vs the first time these teams played when the Eagles blew the Cowboys out a few weeks ago on Thanksgiving Day. These two teams are almost identical in both Offensive and Defensive categories with Dallas 7th Total Offense, 22nd Total Defense, and Philadelphia 5th Total Offense, 25th Total Defense (see chart below). The difference here is that I don’t trust QB Mark Sanchez twice versus a division rival, especially within only a few weeks time frame since they last played one another. Dallas is out for revenge here and will look to redeem themselves from an embarrassing blowout. Although I feel this game will be close, I lean towards the Cowboys in this spot with their big 3 playing solid football. Take the Cowboys in a revenge spot versus a shaky Eagles Defense, who also rank near the bottom of the league in special teams and turnover categories. Dallas will continue their road warrior ways and look to stay undefeated away from home in their 2nd matchup vs the Eagles. Not to mention also getting over a field goal (+3.5).
