The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to roll up the standings behind superstar LeBron James and they will try and take down a potential playoff opponent in the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday night. James looks to record his fifth triple-double in the past six games and is averaging 25.8 points, 13.4 assists and 11 rebounds during a five-game winning streak that is part of 18 victories in the past 19 games for the Cavaliers. James actually wasn’t happy with his most recent triple-double because he was just 8-of-23 shooting while contributing 20 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds during a 106-99 road victory over the Washington Wizards. The Cavaliers are making bettors happy with their recent run, but if you just want to bet them straight-up, you can use a bet calculator to figure out how much return you would get by taking them on the moneyline as opposed to the spread. Milwaukee is looking to break a three-game losing streak after dropping a close decision to the NBA-best Houston Rockets on Saturday, 115-111. Milwaukee is currently the No. 7 seed in the East, which would put them on track to face Cleveland if the season ended that way. The Bucks are just a half-game from being knocked-out of the top eight, but one-game from the No. 4 seed.

Cleveland, which has the No. 3 scoring offense in the league (111.1), have eclipsed 100 points in 24 consecutive games and has knocked down at least 10 three-pointers in 20 consecutive games. James is making a strong case this year for another MVP award with his season averages of 27.8 points, 9.3 assists and 8.5 rebounds. Power forward Kevin Love has been at his best against Milwaukee, recording 32 points and 16 rebounds in a 124-119 victory over the Bucks on November 7th and is averaging 24.5 points and 14 rebounds in this season’s two meetings. Small forward Jeff Green has come off the bench to score above his average (10.7) in four of the past five games.

All-everything small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 37 points and 8.5 rebounds in two games versus Cleveland this season but Milwaukee lost both of them by five and 19 points. Antetokounmpo has scored 25 or more points in eight straight games, as he ranks second in the league with a 29.8 scoring average. The ‘Greek Freak’ and the Bucks have turned up the offense with 100 or more points in each of the past 12 games, the franchise’s best streak since also hitting the mark a dozen times during the 1990-91 season. Khris Middleton also has a hot shooting hand with with a 20.3 scoring average and has 20 or more points in seven of the past nine games.
NBA ODDS, SCORES, AND PUBLIC CONSENSUS
Milwaukee put up a nice effort against Cleveland back in November on the road, but were scorched by LeBron and company in the Bradley Center before that. Cleveland is on too much a roll right now to go against. I’ll keep riding the wave.
