The point spread for Thursday’s Sweet 16 game between the Butler Bulldogs and Wisconsin Badgers opened up at -4.5 on Sunday evening in favor of Wisconsin at Online sportsbook.eu and the total was set at 123.5. The spread has gone down to 4 and the total is now at 124 as of Monday night. So far, 65% of the betting public is on the Badgers. To help you better decide who to bet, take a look at these trends for tonight.

Badgers are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite.

Under is 4-1 in Bulldogs last 5 NCAA Tournament games as an underdog.

Over is 4-1 in Badgers last 5 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite.

Over is 4-1 in Badgers last 5 games as a favorite.

My Prediction: Butler has used their physical play to get back to the Sweet 16. They were supposed to have met their match with Pittsburgh, but the Panthers pretty much handed the Bulldogs that game. Wisconsin brings the same type of game only a little better defensively. The past two games, the Badgers have played like the team that can make a serious run at the Final 4. I think Butler’s run ends tonight, but it will be less than a 5-point game.

Butler +5
